Earn Extra Cash for Surveys and Watching TV?? – A Review of Inbox Dollars

There are plenty of places promoting earning cash for doing virtually nothing, getting paid to watch TV or take a few surveys. I took Inbox Dollars for a test spin to see how it paid off. I focused on two main areas 1) TV and 2) Surveys.
Getting Paid to Watch Videos
Sounds great doesn’t it? Here’s how the $$ shook out.
Inbox Dollars allows you to watch videos and for each video watched the Scratch and Win bar advances.

There are 3 benchmarks you can use to “Scratch” for your chance to win:
First for $10
Then for $25
Finally, if you watch videos to the final point, $100
I performed a test to see how much I could earn in 30 minutes of watching videos using my chance to “Scratch and Win” at either each benchmark.
Strategy #1… What videos to the $10 Scratch & Win point each time for 30 minutes (This is the quickest turnaround time for getting chance to earn money).

When watching videos to the $10 Scratch & Win setting over just over 30 minutes. I earned $0.12, for an earning per hour rate of $0.23.
Strategy #2 What videos to the $25 Scratch & Win point for approximately 30 minutes.

When watching videos to the $25 Scratch & Win setting over just over 40 minutes. I earned $0.06, for an earning per hour rate of $0.09.
Strategy #3 What videos all the way up to the $100 Scratch & Win level.

When watching videos to the $100 Scratch & Win setting, it took approximately 45 minutes to watch the videos needed to achieve this level. My winnings equaled $0.05, which equates to $0.07 per hour.
In full discloser, the timing could depend on internet speed, but this will give you a general idea.
Now, keep in mind, you can run the videos in the background of your computer, so you truly aren’t really having to do anything. BUT, based on my test, I’m not sure you’d really see these earning at work in your monthly budget.
Getting Paid to Take Surveys
Another way to make money through Inbox Dollars is taking surveys. This option deliveries a bit bigger return for your time. Some of the higher paying surveys required you to qualify based on certain characteristics. But I ran through the 3 highest paying surveys available at the time of my test and tracked by results:
$2.09 per hour average payout
The surveys definitely payout more per hour than watching videos, but still has a pretty low pay rate.
The goal of this review is to layout the potential income through Inbox Dollars. I went into it pretty excited to earn extra cash doing something so easy. Make your own decision, but I don’t think this will be a sustained earning stream for me. This level of earning will have very little (if any) impact on a monthly budget.
As you are earning cash, Inbox Dollars will let you withdrawal funds at $30. It will take you a while get there, but it is real money. You also get $5 just for signing up.
It’s not the greatest money maker I’ve seen, but if you are interested, use the link below to get $5 instantly when you sign up…
